Jendie was bred by Ailsa Gill and Hazel Cook and represents the fourth generation of Gillaber breeding. He has enjoyed a highly successful show career. In his first year in the ring he was a Beta/Dog World Pup of the Year finalist, in his second he gained his first CC and in his third he became a champion.

He is an outstanding sire. His progeny includes our own Ch Diotima Sea Wolf at Ramsgrove and Ch Potterdale Audition for Pattishawl, two of the top winning males in the UK. A third son, Am and Can Ch Pattishawl Causin' Applause for Classical is one of the top winning males in North America. Jendie has sired three UK Championship show group winners - including the Crufts 2007 Pastoral group winner - many CC and reserve CC winning dogs and bitches and many, many other ch show winners.

Last year Jendie sired five individual CC winners, making him the 2006 top producing UK Beardie stud dog.

He is a great Beardie character and a true gentle man.
